I am really into bananas. They not only taste great, but they also are very interesting in terms of healthy nutrition. A banana has a lot of vitamins, trace elements and carbohydrates (a 100g banana has about 23g carbos). The later is important as regards cardio and weight training.
Try eating one or two bananas an hour before working out at the gym and you will be able to train much harder. If you want to build up muscles and strenght, carbohydrates are at least as important as proteins. Give bananas a try!
