Some fun with Photoshop filters and other postprocessing stuff.
This is at the subway station Heiligenstadt. The employees of the Wiener Linien checked the tickets at all arriving trains right at this moment. Lucky me was leaving and not arriving …
Getting back to work after the Christmas holidays. E-Mails to be executed and new projects to be kicked off.
Heiligenstadt
Looking at the railway/subway station ‘Heiligenstadt’ and the Karl-Marx-Hof. Heiligenstadt is part of the 19th district of Vienna. It’s damn cold outside at the moment with a very uncomfortable wind.
Nothing special happened today except the fact that I only slept two hours last night. Maybe that’s because of the foehn and the different climate after coming back from Paris. It was much warmer there. I don’t like cold weather and I don’t like snow. Maybe I’ve choosen the wrong country to live in.
It’s soccer-year again
In the 19th district you can also find the Hohe Warte Stadium (stadium of the First Vienna FC) which reminds of the fact that 2008 is themed SOCCER. Why?
Because the Euro 2008 is coming to Austria and Switzerland in June (7th – 29th) and the media is already full with infos and commentarys about what we have to expect. Soccer is not really my kind of sport. As well as skiing. I like to do both by myself but watching is a bit boring. Again, wrong country. It seems like everyone is into soccer or skiing. Or both. Except me. But maybe the Euro 2008 will change that. Of course I will watch the matches of my team to express solidarity with my country. I love it. Come hell or high water. And by the way: Austria will win the tournament. Ok, enough bad jokes for today.
